Time to get started on this topic. Take a few moments to read every aspect of this paper hopefully it will be of great help.

The world depends on diverse forms of oil to work industrial trading operations and to help keep residencies warm during the cold winter months. The oil we need is drilled from two types of oil rigs. These rigs are land based oil rigs and ocean offshore rigs.

Even though the oil rigs can be different in positions on the surface of the earth they perform the same task. This is to locate a deposit of oil and drill for it. For this ground the oil rigs are constructed of solidness material which can stand up to severe storm weather. The rig is also large enough to contain all of the tools, equipment and machinery that is necessary to operate the rig.

As the oil deposits are generally found some distances away from civilization the various oil rigs need to be absolutely self-sufficient. To supply for this ground the rig will have an electric plant that generates the power needed for the work. The bigger offshore oil rigs will have a desalination plant to purify salt water so that it is converted to fresh water. A treatment plant can be found on the premises of oil rigs.

The handling plant will safely dispose of the versatile wastes that accumulate in the oil rigs. This allows the drilling crew to continue their work without worrying about the need to discard of these safely in an environmental friendly manner. To make the lives of the drilling crew comfortable they have very comfortable living quarters....read more on a site that is all about this topic and more..

This article was written to provide you with knowledge about the subject I appreciate you taking your time to read it.

Halloween Michael Myers Classic Horror Suspense Movie Sequel Whiteout Adult Black T-Shirt

Holidays and special events should be a time of great joy, but dieters customarily imagine these occasions with dread and horror. Why? Because celebrations are not celebrations without lots of high-calorie, tempting foods. Does this suggest that you have to become a social-scrooge to duck temptation? No. The "secret" is to create a survival "plan" ahead of time and stick to it throughout this holiday season.

"If you fail to plan, you can plan to fail" is a time worn and clichd statement. But it's still wonderful success advice. Not only do most people fail to plan, they consciously plan to fail over the holidays.

Most people expect to "blow" their diet and miss workouts during the holidays. They expect to eat more, exercise less and gain weight. Instead of putting forth the effort by taking control, they resign themselves to maintenance at best or back-sliding at worst.

This negative expectancy leads to a self-fulfilling prophecy. By the first week of January, they're in the worst shape they've been in for a year and they frantically make New Year's resolutions to shed the excess fat they've gained. Is that your approach? Or, are you going to be strong and really make it all the way to the New Year without gaining weight?

Let's revisit October with the ghost of binge past. Oktoberfest plus Halloween equaled a huge junk food binge for some of us. Oktoberfest and Halloween are over and done. Does that mean you are going to let the ghost of binge past turn you into a food scrooge? Are you going to pass up seasonal celebrations to avoid the fattening feasts?

Ho, Hum! How do you avoid turning into a miserable ol' food scrooge?

First, get the Halloween candy out of your house. Take it far away. Okay, there are hungry children in third world countries, but you cannot lend a hand by eating everything in sight! Plus, feeding our sweet tooth is like watering a plant. It only makes the thing bigger, needing more the next time. Ho, Hum!

Wait! Look into your secret stashes and throw them in the trash with old coffee grounds and banana peel (so they won't find their way back out again). Yes, get rid of the sweets in your desk.

If you empty out all the candy, and find that your house echoes because there's nothing left in it, swap them with snacks such as unsalted nuts, fruits and vegetables.

Second, plan to tell friends and family to foregos food gifts. If you still get them, thank the person, but later give the food away to someone else. This way, you won't hurt the giver's feelings and you will eliminate your temptation.

Third, manage your time. With hectic schedules, there never seems to be enough time to plan, eat, exercise, clean, shop, cook, and decorate. Sit down and write out daily schedules for the weeks before your events. Determine what you can reasonable do in specific time frames and then plan to do it. Manage to have a meal replacement when you are on the go. They are far more nutritious than a fast food meal and more convenient.

Fourth, plan to modify your recipes. You don't have to give up traditional favorites - just modify them. For instance, make turkey stuffing low fat by sauting onions and celery in broth in place of butter. Use sugar-free gelatin to slice calories in gelatin molds. Take a look at your recipes to see if you can eliminate or decrease some ingredients or use lower calorie substitutes.

Fifth, plan to leave the leftovers. Too often leftover food goes into your mouth instead of the storage container, even if you're already stuffed. Give leftovers away, make packages for your guests to take with them, take food into work, or divide leftovers into portions to use with your diet plan.

Sixth, control your eating. The moment you arrive to a holiday gathering, check out the food and pick out a few "healthy" foods to eat and skip all the others. Eat slowly and savor every bite. So you don't overeat, eating a meal replacement beforehand can help fill you up before you reach the holiday party table loaded with "once a year, you have to eat me treats."

Seventh, meal replacement are your answer if you're like most people, and don't' have several hours a day to prepare healthy and nutritious meals. Study shows that people who replace several meals a week with portion-controlled foods, like liquid shakes or snack bars, lose significantly more weight in three months than folks who simple try to cut calories. What's the secret of meal replacements? Meal replacements keep it simple. Forget counting carbs or calories!

So you see, you don't have to fail to plan. You really can make it to New Years without gaining an ounce by including meal replacements in your diet. And, when you make it to New Years Day (and you have not gained weight), you will be free to avoid the parade of New Years dieters. Everyone else will be starting the latest fad, but you will be living your new lifestyle without deprivation dieting. Nothing tastes as good as thin feels.

Using Wire with Dollhouse Furniture

Would you like a very detailed piece of dollhouse furniture? Choosing a wire material means that the craftsman has greater flexibility to do what normal wood could not. In any case, you will see wire designs of furniture that would be very fragile with would perform magnificently with wire. You will see this material in most interlaced dollhouse furniture designs.

Unfinished Kits

If you found building your own dollhouse to be a fulfilling and liberating experience, consider purchasing furniture kits or unfinished furniture. Furniture kits include items you put together yourself that will look like their picture once they are completed. If you want to assemble the furniture yourself, buy a furniture kit; completed items will appear as they do in the picture.

Dollhouse Bedrooms

Every dollhouse needs a dollhouse bedroom. There are so many styles, colors, designs, and furniture pieces available that each bedroom set is truly unique. Details you may find include beautifully made bedding and intricate carvings.

Victorian Dollhouse Furniture

Out of the many differing styles Victorian is by far the most popular. Victorian has the classic feel of the Victorian era - curved and rounded lines, high ended backs, and prominent detailed legs. It is no wonder why Victorian dollhouse furniture is the best choice and top seller, it truly is just fun to design, play with, and coordinate Victorian dollhouse furniture.

Black

Looking for a unique color for your dollhouse furniture? Black defiantly stands out and makes an impression. Not only does black furniture attract the eye, but most pieces have accented hand painted designs. This is a great color for a more nontraditional or cultural design for your dollhouse.

Kitchen Furniture

The variety within dollhouse kitchen sets is enormous: you can purchase just two or three necessary pieces, or you can choose a luxurious roomful-and everything in between You will definitely want to have a table and chairs in your kitchen if you are not planning to add a separate dining room to your dollhouse. Some of the most fantastic dollhouse accessories belong in the kitchen (such as cookie tins for the cabinets and a gallon of milk for the fridge), so make sure you have room to exhibit them

Poly-resin

A growing market in the way of dollhouse material is the use of poly-resin in miniature accessories and furniture. It is a durable material blend from polyester and resin that can be molded and shaped with precise detail. By using poly-resin with your dollhouse furniture you will get a very solid detail without having to worry about fabric or color fading.

Adult's Purple Grapes Halloween Costume

Halloween and All Saints Day are twin occasions. One, through historical and traditionally cultural celebrations, points to the observance of All Saints Day, which focuses less on the macabre and more on the spiritual. One is no less an occasion for confronting the reality of death than the other.

Halloween has come to be a commercialized, more frivolous and mundane occasion, while All Saints Day is more dignified, more concentrated on the passing of a dear family member, individual friend or collective group of deceased persons who have borne considerable importance in our lives.

No one argues that one is more or less important than the other. It could be said that Halloween is the opening act. It is the opportunity to allow one to move from celebration to contemplation. Death, in both cases, is still a stark reality. Perception of and management of death differs in the two.

Many memorial services today are less somber and more celebratory. Recognition is given to the value of the life of the deceased and to their passing from our presence. It becomes an affirmation of their importance, example, lessons taught from their time among us.

All Saints Day, as an annual event, catches up all who have died in the past year and gives public opportunity for a renewed remembering of their importance to our lives.

Like Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Halloween is more a human experience, a frivolous regard for what follows, which is the awareness of death, and in the case of Lent and Easter, an acknowledgment of Resurrection. One does not occur without the other. While there is an element of paganism in these acts, there is struggle and resistance and finally surrender.

Halloween is another way to confront death. And, if one readies oneself to deal with the sure and certain prospect of death, there is no impropriety in facing it in whatever way gives a person insight into recognizing its inevitability. Fear of death prompts lack of faith. Who knows, for sure, what lies on the other side? Like all mysteries no solution, however couched in language, gives us a final picture of what death may be like in its existential state.

These human occasions, Halloween, All Saints Day, Fat Tuesday, even Good Friday, at best only give us a glimpse, and it is a glimpse made up of metaphysical experiences.

No arguments here, regarding, how one acts out one's faith and belief system. These in the moment experiences simply allow a pragmatic way for us to express a desire to reach beyond ourselves in life and to grasp what lies beyond in death.

So whatever, however you may go about incorporating these occasions in your own metaphysical moment, do so with satisfaction and joy that attempting to reach out for mercy and grace is an ever constant undertaking.

Card making is a rewarding and fun hobby. Not only do you get to be creative and play around with your favourite craft supplies, but you also have the opportunity to make personalised and unique gifts for someone special in your life.

Making cards is simple, but when you're still learning what to do, it can be difficult to know where to start. A good starting place is to decide what embellishments you would like to use to decorate your card. My favourite embellishments are:

1. Patterned Papers - There is a huge number of patterned papers to choose from. I suggest you check your local scrapbooking store and pick out some of your favourites. Often papers are so detailed and exquisite that you don't need any other embellishments for your card. I tend to buy a lot of floral papers as they make interesting backgrounds. Plus, you can cut out individual flowers as your centrepiece.

2. Stickers - Stickers make great centrepieces for your cards. And again, there is a huge range of stickers on the market for you to choose from. There is everything from cute baby shapes to sophisticated flourishes and swirls. So no matter what your taste and style, you will be able to find something appropriate for your project. If you are a little more advanced and have a bit more time on your hands, you may prefer to use stamps instead of stickers.

3. Ribbon - Ribbons are the perfect way to add texture and dimension to your cards. Muted natural colours give your cards an elegant feel while bright colours make your card look more funky.

4. Brads - Brads are another way of adding dimension to your cards. You can arrange them in patterns to give the impression of different shapes or you can use them to secure other elements like tags and ribbons to your cards.

5. Ink Pads - Technically ink pads are not considered an embellishment, but I would never make cards without a few ink pads on standby. I often use them to ink the edges of my papers to give them a softer and more interesting look.

Once you've chosen your embellishments, you're all set to start making gorgeous cards of your own.

Halloween Wig Bad Fariy Black with Red Accents

Black wig with red detailing. Rose ribbon holds pigtails on both sides with a widow's peak front.

The pile of Halloween party invitations sitting on your desk doesn't have to be sinister-there are plenty of simple costume ideas that will make your evening easy and eerily inexpensive!

Next time you receive a Halloween party invitation from a close friend in the mail, consider dressing up like the party's host for a funny, unexpected twist-often all you need is a wig, a distinctive outfit and a good sense of humor!

Also, if you are as paper-obsessed as everyone here at Tiny Prints, you can use old Halloween party invitations and other social stationery to make your costume. Use a copy machine to enlarge the Halloween invitation itself and wear it like a big sign, telling everyone that you are the "prints" or "prints-ess" of the party. Or you could just stick Halloween invites all over your body and tell everyone you are a deck of cards!

When Halloween party invitations encourage you to bring a guest, it's a golden opportunity to don devilishly delightful duo costumes. Depending on the tone of the event set by the Halloween invitation, you and your date can dress up like easily recognizable celebs, literary characters or household items. Salt and pepper are popular choices, as are the signature looks of celebrity pairings like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. If the Halloween party invitation sets a more playful tone, women can channel their inner fairy tale princesses by dressing up like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, and men can go with characters like Bert and Ernie or Bart Simpson and Milhouse.

No matter what creative costume you choose, a little imagination and a lot of style will surely make this one happening Halloween!

These little Pies are sweet and spicy treats for that use up the Pumpkin flesh that you carve out of your funny Halloween Lanterns. You can use canned pumpkin if you wish, but fresh is best. For an extra crunch you can also sprinkle some toasted Sesame Seeds on half the cookies - use those ones on the top half of the 'pie'. These tasty little morsels will keep quite well in an airtight container, but it's unlikely that you will need to do that as they don't last long.

This quantity will make about 70 cookies which will convert into 35 pies.

Cookie Ingredients

2 large egg yolks
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup vegetable or corn oil
2 cups of cooked pumpkin or 1 can of pumpkin puree
3 cups of flour
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp vanilla essence
Pinch of salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp of Toasted Sesame Seeds (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly grease a baking or cookie sheet.

Beat egg yolks and sugar together until well combined and then beat in the oil and vanilla essence.

Sift the dry ingredients together and then add them to the wet mix, beating until the mixture is smooth.

Using a teaspoon, drop small amounts onto the greased sheets.

Sprinkle Sesame Seeds on half of the cookie drops.

Bake for approximately 12 minutes.

Pie Filling

2 egg whites, beaten till stiff
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
4 tsp milk
4 tsp flour
4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter, softened

Mix together all the ingredients except the egg whites.

Beat in the egg whites until well combined.

Spread a spoonful of the filling onto the flat side of a cookie to use as the pie 'bottom', these should be the ones without the sesame seeds.

Place the top on each 'pie' and squeeze together gently.

They will disappear as if by magic!
